It’s really easy to get involved with our summer learning challenge – there are lots of really fun challenges to choose from.

First of all is our Summer Themes challenge – 26 challenges split across 5 themes. Don’t panic – we don’t want you to try all ¬†of them this summer. But maybe stretch those learning muscles to try and complete one challenge a week during the holidays.

If you manage to complete two activities from a section or theme or one of the big summer challenges you’ll receive a special certificate. If you manage to complete two activities from each section and a big summer challenge project then you’ll receive a prize!

Homework challenge 2018

There’s also the fantastic ‘Animal Agents’ summer reading challenge running at Barnsley Libraries. Register at your local library and read six books through the summer holidays – that’s just one a week. They can be any books at all – joke books, fact books, funny books or stories. As you read the books you’ll receive loads of great prizes and rewards including bookmarks, collectors cards, stickers and more. It’s totally free to take part – just call into your local library to register.

For every learning challenge you complete, we want to know all about it!

Use the form below to tell us all about the learning challenges you’ve completed this summer. You can even upload a picture of yourself completing the challenge! We’d love to see and hear about how you are keeping those learning muscles strong through the long holiday.
